Somerset County Orchestra is self-funded and over recent years concerts have become more costly to put on. Music societies are finding obtaining sufficient funding a major challenge and we are no different. We are passionate about continuing to provide live music to the local community but need help in order for us to be able to achieve this.

Patrons Scheme
We operate a Patron’s scheme at an annual fee of £30 for a single membership and £60 for a double membership. Patron’s enjoy the benefits of advanced written notice of concerts, reserved seating on request, free refreshments at each concert, their name published in every concert programme and attendance by arrangement at a rehearsal per concert (usually the Tuesday rehearsal before the concert date).
Friends Scheme
As an alternative to being a Patron we also offer a Friends scheme. This requires an annual donation from £10 upwards. Friends will have their name published in each concert programme but will not have the other benefits of being a Patron.
Corporate Sponsor
As a business you can benefit from advertising in our concert programmes for an annual fee.
